OPTCL, GRIDCO, SLDC Wide area network (OGS-WAN)

• OPTCL-IT is focused to provide an uninterrupted and faster access of all the IT services to its officials throughout Odisha and aims to strengthen and extend its infrastructure and networking by providing a robust networking system,which includes own dark fibre of 14758 kms.
• The business application of IT has been extended to 67 grids of OPTCL through its own fibre network. OPGW links are provided with 2Mbps of bandwidth with back-hole of 50Mbps to serve maximum no of users which enables them to access the IT services faster.
• IT business application has been extended to 94 grid sub-stations & offices through hired MPLS link & point-to-point connectivity.
