Geographical Information System (GIS)
Accessing information about Substation, EHT Lines, Towers, Crossings (LIVE/GEO), RoR data, Soil class have been accomplished by implementing GIS. This is also helpful for preparation of Disaster Management, Right of facilities, Transmission line siting.
127 no of Substations, 29456 no of EHT Towers and 8427 route KiloMeter have been mapped in GIS till date.
500GB of server space is being utilized for application server & 5 TB of server space is being utilized for database server.
During the Cyclone “Fani”,”Titli”,”Amphan” this application has contributed a lot for Information Retrieval and Report generation.
